I am the current owner (5 years odd) of a DS3 diesel which has done me quite well, its done around 150K miles now and still going. Mine is a 2012 and thanks to the new ULEZ zone, I now live on a road where the ULEZ zone is at one end and therefore have to think about my routes everywhere etc which is to be honest a right pain. Due to the fact that I am not living in a London borough I cannot take advantage of the £2k trade in on older vehicles not meeting the ULEZ standard.
Woes aside, this gives me an opportunity to get a new (er) vehicle. This is where I need some help.
I like the DS3, it does what I need it to do and ticks most of the boxes. I do a fair bit of mileage (around 80 miles at least per day) and I cannot seem to find anything that comes remotely close for mpg, zero road tax etc.
Luckily there are still a few DS3s that are Euro 6 compliant which I am looking at getting but want to listen to you guys if there is another option I cannot see.
Am I correct here? I know its going to be a bit of a bias forum to ask but I'm asking anyway, what vehicle would you look at in my situation?
