Hey guys and gals, this is my first post as i have just given into temptation and brought a 2011 DS3 after much lusting, so hi. But i need some advice on wheel sizes. The wheels that come with the car have tyres sized as 215/55/R16. Doing my homework a little bit this doesn't appear to be a common tyre size setup for these cars and it makes me think that possibly my Speedo is off to what im actually doing. So im looking at OEM sizes in terms of after market wheels, more swaying towards 205/45/R17 however the comparison between this size and the size on the car currently is quite a difference in Speedo reading/speed. Is it safe to stick with the 205/45/R17 size as a standard when considering new wheel/tyre upgrades or are there other sizes that can be recommended, bearing in mind i wanna drop her 40mm give or take and have minimal or no arch modification. My other question is can I get away with 17 inch ET15 7.5 rims when dropped or is it better to stick with ET25? Sorry for all the questions. Advice is very much appreciated. Thanks.
