  • Esp/asr fault

So I was on a lesson when half way through I get this random fault.. Had to call a halt to the lesson and take car to a service centre. I've got a test Monday, so can't show up with a fault or the test will be refused. Any way it turns out it was the sensor at the o/s rear.. Apparently on the ds3 the sensor isn't covered or protected in anyway and mine seems to have been damaged by a stone or some thing.. It also damaged the ABS ring, but hopefully I've got away with that one..time will tell. Had the sensor replaced and all seems well so far.

Its on the back of the brake disk. Pull the disk and then take the target ring off with a gear puller and install new one. Or put a new rear brake disk on which comes with the target, either way no big deal.
