car battery change e-hdi?

Does anyone know how long the battery typically lasts on a stop/stop hdi? Im thinking of changing mine as a more preventive measure, being 4 years old and car has done 50k. If i change it, does it need an indy to reset the system? Cant seem to find the info anywhere on the web !

Unless your battery is showing signs of weakness I would hang in there till your starting becomes sluggish. In general extra starting should not wear out you battery significantly as long as you have parts of your journey that let the battery recover

According to the service manual, the stop start models also have a supercapaitor located behind the passenger side front quarter panel.
So probably like what's said above, wait until it shows signs. If there's a supercapacitor present, it'll probably be doing most the work anyway.
