Alloygators are a pain to fit
Very robust tho- Rimblades lot easier to fit
Not tried them on the road yet

Well- said in last post alloygators were robust- and they are by protecting the rim
They do pop out of the rims a little for a 3 or 4 inch stretch if you hit the kerb though it seems
I just try and whack them back in with a rubber mallet
Anyone else do this to them? Or should the tyre be deflated before the "Whacking" takes place
Does it mean they werent fitted properly in first place? (Me cack handed no doubt)
They do look a bit scarred after a while- any tips? (Thinking WRC)
Only one I have is that white spirit cleans them up fairly well

Got my RIMBLADES on the current wheels (Tamura) on the DS3 now -September 2012
So can report back what theyre like once Ive kerbed them- Ha!

not sure on the alloygators now- they may have been on the Bellones so long that water and dirt has lodged behind, then sat there awhile, and eroded the clear veneer on the rim, as when I had to take one off, the rim looked pitted

Would have to take a closer look
