Hey guys,
First post here but not new... Just been quietly observing from the background .
I just wanted to pickle some of your brains out there about the head gaskets in the EP6 engine, do the DS3/Peugeot/ mini have the same head gaskets in them?
I've got a 2011 DS3 THP155 that's got serious carbon build up on the valves but unfortunately nobody within reasonable distance can blast them for me. So I've decided to do it the long way round be removing the cylinder head to have it chemically cleaned but my issue is Citroën South Africa says 8- 10 weeks for a head gasket to come from France and that is just ridiculous . So I just wanted to know if the head gasket from the mini or the Peugeot is the same, as my local BMW/mini dealer have a gasket in stock.
