Hi all,
Just fitted an induction kit and alloy boost pipes to my 155thp and noticed oil on the rocker so thought it wise to replace the cam cover thus ensuring the pcv valve is good before it’s off to Jamie’s for the walnut blast next week.
it looks like it’s had some work done in the past as you can see gasket sealant all round the cover (rolls eyes) but more importantly it’s missing the plastic protection cover that clips over the coil pack harness at the front of the cam cover. I can’t seem to find one online (possibly this ref No V756171580) and certainly don’t want to go to Citroen direct for it - they’ve just mugged me off for ?350 for the wiper motor! Any idea where I can source one quickly and cheaply? Just wish scrapyards were open again!
Another part that seems to be missing is on the right hand breather pipe where it enters the rocker cover. Once inserted, I’m pretty sure there should be a slide in clamp that holds it in place but this is missing meaning the pipe basically just pushes in and isn’t help tightly in place - goes without saying this is where and why the oil is everywhere!
Any idea what the part is or where I can get one?
