  • Radiator flushing

    Hi guys

Had an interim service this week and was told my radiator needs flushing as, and I had noticed recently, the coolant is dark brown and has a lot of rust, debris etc in it
    .
I am very new to doing any work myself to my 2016 DS3 but my local garage and a few other garages are asking far too much money to do a coolant flush. Ive been doing a lot of research to make sure I have everything I need and what to do step by step however (please be kind as this is the bit I am struggling to clarify before I start) everywhere I am learning about flushing the coolant/ radiator out tells me to take off the "radiator cap"...... Now, I have the overflow plastic tank and my question is, is that the radiator cap? I cant see one anywhere else in engine. And am I also correct in thinking there is no drain plug underneath, its only hose that allows you to uncouple and drain that way?

Any help/guidance really would be appreciated.
Working...
