It's jusat an infromal thing- few from yorkshire, from from up here. Head down, have lunch, catch up, go for a cruise etc etc. Perfect distance for a little drive and will do your diesel a world of good to blow through pipes

Just video to show how steady the phone mount is- the slight justter is because of the screen wipers messing with the focus of phone camera NOT mount wobble.

Be warned, it's quite dull, the music is creedence ( I think thats what I was listening to). Had to post a dull one as me driving normally may have landed me jail time as I would have taken off after the BMW that overtook me lo.

Where did you manage to get the holder for your S3 I've been looking around for one but they've all been flimsy and pointless ones that break or drop the phone out .
But that looks really cool I'm liking the whole tablet and phone in the car

Both of them are brodit. Bit pricey but trust me they're worth it- rock solid!

For Brodit stuff I recommend DSL Developements always had very good service from them.

I've had various Brodit mounts and holders from them wouldn't use anything or anyone else now. Might even go for the A pillar one now, after seeing how well it looks in the car, will be better for Torque Pro than where I've got the phone mounted at the moment.

It's as steady as anything mate, thats why I stuck up that video to show how solid it is. You can still move it about on the swivel but it never budges once you move it, same on the tablet- flip it horizontal, vertical, towards the passenger- stays as steady as a rock

Have you done any video with the Torque Pro Track Recorder plugin yet, tried it but my phones camera faces the glove box so not much good, no option for using the front camera. Another reason to get that A pillar mount I think.

I have but the speedo readings are a bit naughty and I was having some trouble rendering the video on my PC- just waiting for an updated renderer from torque
