IPod adapter

Hey everyone! I have found this Ipod adapter, I know it says that it fits the DS3, but ordering from the Dominican Republic, I can't really send it back as it would cost double the amount, plus all the time wasted... I want to know if it would fit my 2012 DS3 Sport, I have the basic stereo (with aux output not USB)
