  • Land rover cleaning kit....

    Hi there,

We have a land rover professional cleaning kit. I have just got my ds3 today. It has supagard protection on
    It.

Can I use the land rover cleaning kit on it?

If not, what am I best to use? Thanks

What is in the kit girlypink? And is it the DS that has Supaguard on?

Yes ds has supagard on. It's a professional cleaning kit we were given by land rover when hubby had one a while back. Usual cleaning bits I guess. Just don't want to damage my brand new pride and joy!

Just to warn you, it gets quite addictive and expensive all this cleaning malarkey!

He should be grateful that you are going to look after it unlike most people nowadays.

He's already said he doesn't recognise this new woman around - I've never taken that much pride in my car but I've never
had a new, great looking car worthy of keeping clean!

An excellent starter kit you have there. As already stated, it can and does get expensive (>£2500 and counting just on products).

Do I spy the excellent Purple Monster mf cloths there?? If so, very good choice.

Be careful with the wheel brush to just use on the inside of the alloys. I have the soft Wheel Woolies and I use them this way as shown with the awesomely fantastic, PowerMaxed Alloy Wheel Cleaner:

Just need two buckets now and some grit guards and away you go.

Just to demonstrate. I started out with similar products to you and thought that would be enough. However, after spotting various things and reading recommendations on here I'm now sat on...

I've got a clay mitt as well, just forgot to put that in the photo.
