  • Andy, hopefully you approve?!

Got 10 new microfibres and a soft alloy brush today. Leaflet enclosed in package for waxstock made me think of you!

Best way to de tag the cloths please ?

Scissors or if they're sewed on and you want to be really anal, pick the stitches

They are sewn in and I could unpick them for sure. Just wondering if scissors will leave a stubby bit that might scratch?

NGL, I don't detag mine at all, I've never seen a noticeable scratch, only swirl marks from previous owners.

I can imagine you saying that in your farmers voice.

I wouldn't bother de-tagging the cloths, gives you a handy loop to hang them up

I actually just rip them off and if any thread remains then I just unpick that.

Nice looking cloths btw girlypink. One side is normally plusher than the other so use that side. To wash, put in the washer with washing liquid not powder and no fabric conditioner at about 30-40 degrees. To dry, tumble dryer is best (if possible) as it plumps up the fibres.

Thanks Andy, knew I could rely on you! We only use gel liquid so presuming that's ok? Now I have enough, I can create a pile to wash together with nothing else added.

The gel liquid is fine. I always save up the dirty/used cloths in a bucket of water and white vinegar until ready to wash in the washer. Acts as an extremely safe pre-soak.
