Wheel cleaner

Evening all, I picked up my use DS3 DStyle plus last week. I've just done my first clean and some areas of the wheels still have unclean areas (in the corners) it's just break dust worn in but I cannot get it of. What's a good product to clean these wheels without damaging the black painted areas.

An iron fallout remover, such as Bilt Hamber Korrosol, will remove most imbedded brake dust. Combine it with a set of wheel woolies and you should be able to keep your wheels spotless.

Hi eggey17. Good advice there from my fellow car cleaner mk2k41.

A fallout remover as recommended is excellent at obviously removing the iron but also excellent at ridding the alloy of any ingrained brake dust. The market leader has to be IronX By CarPro but the Bilt Hamber products are just as good yet cheaper.

This is an IronX at work video on a recent detail I did for a clients BMW using Wheel Woolies to agitate the ingrained brake dust.

I've just picked up a test litre of Billberry Safe after reading some positive stuff on tinternet. Today I read another load of postings about how rubbish it is! Glad i didn't get 5L!

Used both variations of this; Angelwax Bilberry and ValetPro Bilberry. Didn't live up to the hype and both were very disappointing. In fact at the time, both were totally blown out of the water by AF Imperial. Not a product I would recommend if I'm honest. A bit of a rubbish product like ooh.....Poorboys Wheel Sealant for example.
