  • A proper clean at last

First proper clean and impressed with myself, even if I am knackered and my back is killing! Tried out the power maxed bits and mixed reviews I'd say.

3 hrs and Darcey is gleaming again[emoji3]

Nice and shiny! Good job. Your tyres still have new car stubble.

That looks brilliant - great work, so far I've only tried the PowerMaxed Glass cleaner and the tyre dressing, have been impressed with them, the dressing doesn't stay shiny for too long but it's easy to reapply

What weren't you impressed with ?

The traffic film remover didn't get rid of more than 50% of the crap on mine nor did the shampoo! the glass cleaner didn't clean the glass that well compared with wipes I normally use. I didn't use the tyre dressing today. The alloy wheel cleaner did a good job. I was still left with lots of crap stuck on after a very good use of the traffic film remover and shampoo.

Car looks very nice. I tried the powermaxed shampoo last week and must say, I was very impressed with it. Water sheets nicely off when rinsing.

Very surprised you weren't impressed with all of the products Girlypink. May I ask what jetwash are you using to remove the TFR after it has been left to dwell?

Just finished doing my car, and I've got to say I was pretty impressed with the Power Maxed stuff. The TFR removed more than the VP citrus pre wash does and the shampoo did a good job as well . The glass cleaner was ok, but no better than the AG fast glass I normally use. The tyre dressing looks good at the moment, but time will tell how long it lasts.

Andy I used our halfords one as that's all we have at the mo. But even using the wool mitt and the bug remover part of that didn't get everything off, even when combined with the shampoo.
