Interested to see a 5L RDS. Useful... Andy, I noticed plenty of threads where you use Surfex HD as your prewash choice, but I know you've got some love for the RDS too... Do you use them in different situations? Surfex must work out much cheaper at 10:1 dilution doesn't it?

I am now, tending to only use SurfexHD at a 1:5 ratio for detoxification of a cars paintwork for a detail. As it's a degreaser, it's perfect for helping to strip old wax and polishes to get the paint back to as bare paint as possible (obviously in conjunction with other products).
Surfex in a spray bottle at 1:10 is perfect for giving tyres a good scrub with a stiff brush and also wheel arches, petrol cap area, panel gaps, the honeycomb grill, badges and window rubbers
RDS is a great, off the shelf product that I dilute 1:1. Perfect for dried on bugs, dead flies and an all round spray, leave to work then rinse product that can then be pat dried with a drying towel and that's it. Looks just like it has been properly 2BM cleaned.
SurfexHD for a thorough clean with other products and RDS for a stand alone, apply and rinse product.
