At Waxstock on Sunday, myself and Padawan scoured highland low for 5L of BiltHamber Korrosol (expected to pay £50) but there seemed to be nobody selling any BiltHamber products at all.
I wasn't going to go for Iron X but as my young apprentice wanted a new wash mitt, we headed over to the Envy stall. Where by chance, I remembered that they did an extremely good fall out remover called Iron Awe. 5L for £50 but with a tenner off on the day and to my surprise discovered it can be diluted 1:1 meaning £40 to make 10L therefore £4 per litre.
Not had a chance to use it yet but you may find this review from a fellow detailer on his works van impressive?
Gave it 1 hit with neat Iron Awe
And left to dwell 5 minutes, then agitated with a 1" valet pro brush. tried to get a few snaps here as it was terrible !!!
Last picture shows how the gel of the product works well and formed like a sludge at the bottom of the wheel.
Washed the wheel off to leave me this finish
Decided that it was a good result but due to the massive reaction i decided to give it a second blast.
Was still good bleeding but shows how effective first hit had been. Was also agitated again at this stage.
This was the rinsed off again leaving this as a final finish.
So to sum up this is a fantastic product, as this can be diluted to make it less like a gel, which will be ideal for bodywork as generally most cars main iron will be on the wheels.
Smell I found not that strong compared iron x or purple rain that I have used before, I do still have some purple rain so will do a comparison test at some point. I do feel this will come out on top due to how it performed today.
