Apply a small amount Phil with a cloth ensuring all peanut butter is rubbed in and absorbed by the plastic then buff off with a clean cloth.

You could remove the smooth peanut butter with a slice of bread and then you have a tramp sandwich ready made (including the stain from the plastic)
