  • Pressure washer

Hi guys, im looking to buy a pressure washer for cleaning my new Ds3, didnt realize how bad the paint work was on my old car until i came to sell it and actually looked round the body work to find scratches everywhere. So decided this time around im going to get some proper cleaning gear. Ive seen this pressure washer on on sale the now in argos, i know Nilfisk is one of the better brands for pressure washers but unsure if this one will be any good with a max pressure of 100bar? Most others i have seen on internet have 110 plus but they are obviously alot more expensive, would rather spend the money on the cleaning products rather than the pressure washer.

anyone on here have one of these or could recommend anything better? Planning on ordering up a snowfoam lance also once i get the washer and seems its easier to find them if the washer is a decent brand.

    Try cleanstore.co.uk
Karcher K5 Premium Eco Home Pressure Washer Bundle

Not the cheapest pressure washer but the cheapest price I could find for that model & has that model has great reviews

I went with the k4 compact home (katcher) it's great, small and light yet packs a punch
I paid around £200 I think, well worth the money though

Good choice looking at Nilfisk but that model at Argos is slightly underpowered and if you're wanting to look at snowfoaming then a higher litres per hour flow is what's needed. For under £90, can I recommend this with free delivery?

Then if you're wanting a snowfoam lance then these are the cheapest around:

I will be on hand of course to offer any advice, foam wise, as and when the time comes👍

I try my best Phil. I have just noticed that the deal includes a foam sprayer bottle which I also have. Where as it wont produce foam as thick as a dedicated foam lance, it is certainly a viable alternative in the meantime. Give that a go first if you get that deal.

Also PM me if and when you get started and I will send you a bottle or two of some foam samples to get you on your way cos I'm nice like that😉

Just found this if the cleanstore one seemed a bit pricey?

That seems a really good deal, i wont use it for anything other than washing the car so dont really need all the other accessories in the other bundle, do you think i would notice the pressure difference when it comes to getting the snow foam lance? Only other thing selling me on the Centennial one is the longer hose, last pressure washer i used was a karcher and the hose was unbearably short.

You could always then, get the cheaper model from Maplin then this rubber hose from Qwashers.

I have the 15M one on mine from them and it is fantastic. Pressure washer stays in one place and hose is large enough to easily go all around the car.

Decided to spend the extra cash and order the centennial off cleanstore, was tempted by the maplin one being impatient to get out and clean the car today but after looking out the window at the typical scottish weather i decided to just order online and wait until monday.

                    Good choice[emoji106]

Quick tip, when you're connecting the garden hose to the main unit, ensure you DONT use a stop end connector, just use a normal one.

And only use the Tornado nozzle, the one with the pressure control, for the car. The Powerspeed nozzle could take your paint off.

I have the K4 too and it's a great pressure washer, use it off a vat of water whilst we're renting the flat, from end of next month it will be connected to the hose in the garage !!!!
