  • Need a new range of products ... I think

I'm no detailer but do have a set of Fercla stuff: renovator, scratch remover, rein polish and like using Deep Crystal Carnuba Wax.

I usually finish off using black trim wax on the few areas of black platsics.

The problem is I'm changing cars and my new one has a large amount of plastic trim and panels. Is there a range of scratch removers, resin polishes and waxes that I can use across the entire car without leaving white on all the plastics?

In the past I tried Turtle Wax Ice (think it was) which is a clear polish that seemed to leave a smeary mess no matter how little I applied. It doesn't mark plastics but isn't great and doesn't last very long.

Am I asking the impossible or can someone in the know enlighten me?

    Many thanks!

I take it you mean Farecla products? An easy way to avoid leaving white on the plastics is to be careful with the application of said products.

Why do you need scratch removers, resin polish and wax? Why not use a sealant then top up sealant with a qd after every wash. Perfect for this time of year. Something from the Sonax range would be ideal. It wouldn't matter then if the qd went on the plastics as it wouldn't leave any white marks.

      Sorry, yes Feracla G3 products.

The cars does 2,500 mile a month on motorways mainly and my 3 monthly habitual routine (on top of normal washing) has always been:
Wash, clay bar, wash. Then go over the car looking for the light scuffs, tar, oil and other marks using the G3 scratch remover and renovator. I then polish the car with G3 resin polish and finish off with the nice smell of the Megs Carnuba wax.
The car never looks detailer standard, but I do keep on top of it and coed up really well.

I have no clue about all these modern products and quick detailer stuff. The new cactus has so much black plastic trim on it that it will be an utter ball ache using my current range of white residue leaving stuff.
Experimenting with the high tech stuff available now could bankrupt a small country looking at what's available!

I will try the Sonax range you've suggested, thanks for your help.
