Finally got a chance to give the car a clean the other day and i noticed how rough the paintwork is, ordered up citrus pre wash and bilberry wheel cleaner from valet pro along with some microfiber wash mitts and cloths to get me started. Wanting to clay the paintwork and get some wax on it before we get any further into winter.

Going to order up dodo juice banana armor and a panel pot of dodo juice purple haze, a g3 claymitt and poorboys wheal sealant.

Anyone used these products? Will a panel pot be enough to do the roof?

It's a pity you have already bought the Bilberry wheel cleaner when there are much better cleaners around. Do not proceed with the anticipated purchase of PB Wheel Sealant. Absolutely garbage. Get this instead which will last 2 years http://perfectdetailing.co.uk/collec...wheels-sealant

G3 mitt is fantastic and should be in every owners collection http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=330602

You should also look at a fallout remover if you are going to the extent of claying your car http://perfectdetailing.co.uk/collec...amber-korrosol

The waxes you are looking at buying are rather quite expensive for what they are. Get some Powermaxed Monsoon in your life instead. Suitable for both light and dark colours http://www.powermaxed.com/clean-your...ba-wax-monsoon

If you are looking at a wax primarily for winter protection then these are very good and the Colli is what mine is wearing at the moment

Another recommendation against the Poorboys wheel sealant. I made the mistake of buying it before asking and it's awful! I use Sonax Xtreme wheel sealant now, and whilst it won't last as long as the Carbon Collective Andy posted above, it is a bit cheaper. The best wheel cleaner I've found is the Power Maxed Alloy Wheel cleaner, it's a fantastic product (as is most of their range!).

Sonax Wheel sealant is brilliant and so easy to apply with it being an aerosol. Both PM alloy wheel cleaners are marvellous 👍

Never tried it Den. Please do give it a whirl though and let us know. Knowledge is power and all that😉
I would spray it onto clean, dry alloys, leave to dry then buff off with a dry MF cloth

Well i will be staying away from the poorboy wheal sealant then since everyone agreein that its crap

It's a pity you have already bought the Bilberry wheel cleaner when there are much better cleaners
I only bought the litre bottle of it to try out cause hadnt seen much on internet about it but everyone liked the valet pro citrus pre wash so thought i would give it a try

That monsoon stuff looks rather pricey for only being 100ml, the banana armour is 250ml n its only 27.99, is there a huge difference in quality between them ?

You could easily get 20-30 layers of wax from that Monsoon pot. At most £1.50-£2.00 per layer, a few times a year. Bargain. Here's a thought. You could always use the Monsoon to seal your alloys too saving you having to buy a specific wheel sealant.

Andy, what would you recommend instead of bilberry? I've been using bilberry for years and just about to re-order!

Either of these are in my top 5 Chris. Bilberry isn't even in the top 10.

Please do purchase a foaming sprayhead for using on the alloys as shown on the videos.
