  • Off the car alloy clean and decon (not a DS3)

Brother has just bought these 18" RS alloys for his S-Line A4 but they definitely needed some TLC first before they went on.

Decided to use 4 different cleaners for each of the 4 alloys

All tyres degreased with SurfexHD 1:10

All alloys fallout removed with Envy Iron Awe diluted 1:1 and de-tarred with Autosmart Tardis

Powermaxed Alloy Wheel Cleaner and Stain Remover

    Autofinesse new Imperial

    Autosmart Wheel Cleaner Concentrate

    Sonax Full Effect

3 of them were sealed with FK1000p with the 4th being sealed with a sample from Hubikote

    Tyres then dressed with Nero

Certainly transform the look of the car for the better

Good stuff mate. Looks like the Autosmart won that one to me! They produced good results though .

I honestly couldn't split the PowerMaxed, Autofinesse or Autosmart Mark. All joint top with the Sonax in 4th.

Looks like you used the full strength PowerMaxed version with added acid Wonder how the everyday yellow version would have done?

I certainly did. They were proper manky so needed a bit of oomph which the full fat PowerMaxed cleaner certainly provided. Yellow one will be used from now on, on the sealed alloys as there won't be as stubborn a dirt to tackle.

Same here, except a certain type of dance music back in the day.
