  • My Cleaning Arsenal so far

Went to the post office depot today to collect what i thought was one parcel which turned out to be 5 so thought i would upload few pics of what cleaning products i have went for so far.
Took advantage of auto finesse's offer last week and got my leather cleaner and avalanche ordered and got the wheel cleaner and leather conditioner for free, already had ordered the bilberry before placing this order or i would have just stuck with the one wheel cleaner but guess gives me chance to try out different ones, also got the power max wheel cleaner in the starter kit so think my wheels should be fairly clean from now on lol.
Still waiting on my G3 mitt to arrive as well as autoglym window polish and i need to decide on a wax for my paintwork.
Got couple of free goodies as well got a free sample in with my snow foam lance and some Haribos in with my autoglym SRP for some strange reason.

Hoping the rain will let up in the next half hour before dark so i can get out and have a shot of the new snow foam lance.

    Not a bad haul [emoji2]

Regarding wax for you paintwork, both powermaxed monsoon and AF Essence are very good and reasonably priced

AF Essence is the one i have been leaning towards seen a lot of good reviews on it. Seems the better one to go for for £5 more than monsoon its twice the size tub and claims 3 months protection when monsoon is only 2.

I've got essence on mine at the minute, put it on the day after waxstock and it still protecting strongly. Very easy to apply and buff off too

Can I ask, why are you looking at buying a wax? You have one of the all time best LSPs there in your first picture sat right next to the SRP. Wash, clay mitt, dry, SRP, 2 coats of FK1000p, done. Will look fantastic and will see you perfectly protected over winter.

i bought the fk1000p for my wheel, didny think it would give a great look on the paintwork but suppose the car is only going to be properly clean 10% of the time during the winter if im lucky.

Will give it a bash on the paintwork, having to wait until the chip paint arrives in garage to touch up couple of marks on the paintwork before i polish and wax it.

Think i would be best to clay before or after getting the chips touched in or does it not matter

Clay before the chips get attended to. Once they have been, quick thin coat of SRP then a couple of thin layers of the FK.
FK is like a half wax/sealant hybrid and looks fantastic on alloys and paintwork whilst providing excellent protection from the elements.

Great i will get out and clay the car at next chance i get, I'm hoping the chip paint will arrive this week.

I'm moving all this stuff out to my shed, cant have it cluttering my room all the time, is there anything you see that i shouldn't keep in the shed over the winter, i know that when some things freeze they dont mix back together quite the same as they were and i dont want to end up with a bunch of ruined products next month when the frost hits.

Any form of pressure washer, pressure sprayers, polish and clay. Everything else should be ok.
