  • Scratches on windscreen

Weather permitting i am going to clay my car in the next couple of days, plan on claying and polishing my windows while as well. I noticed a lot of scratches on my windscreen, will claying and polishing the windows get rid of the scratches. Was thinking of waxing the windows as well but dont think my fk1000p will be much use on windows.

In answer to the question within the post, I am inclined to say no to claying and polishing out the scratches on the windscreen. I have achieved great success getting scratches out of glass but that was with a machine polish.

Also, I wouldn't put Fk1000p on your windows. A QD is effective but don't use a wax intended for metal.

Yeah thats what i was thinking myself seen a few people on internet saying it works but i was skeptical. Best just to leave the scratches then and just clay and polish window as is then

This is how effective a machine polish can remove scratches. This is a headlight I polished. A very effective transformation which enabled a much safer drive at night.

wow thats some difference, will definitely look at doing that in the future. Spent enough money this month without forking out for a machine polisher as well lol . Unless you think a hand drill would have the power needed for the job ?

Not tried one for polishing Phil so don't know. I know Megs do something which can be attached to a drill
