With the automatic wipers, would applying a Hydrophobic coating stop them from working?
Is the sensor on the Rear view mirror bit, if so can i just apply it around that bit?

When I applied rain-x to my old Clio I accidentally did the rain sensor and it did make it less efficient so I would say avoid using products on that area. Having said that Hydr02 didn't affect them.

Not really as the water will still be rising up the screen anyway and will pass over the sensor activating the wipers. If anybody wants to know a brilliant hydrophobic coating without wiper judder then use a 1:1 mix of Sonax BSD and Gtechniq C2v3. Absolutely unreal. Will try and get a video tomorrow if (when) it rains😃

I could prescribe some Carchem Revolt, which would shut you up for good [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

To be honest a combination of things. Meths! An alcohol spray for computers from maplin and time/wear. It's not 100% gone I reckon.

Loved it for the short time it worked well but then didn't work well when I tried to reapply

Keen to try some power maxed stuff I heard rumoured, just not got round to it.
