Advice needed for cleaning parts

Hey all,

Just looking for some advice. I want to bring the sparkle back to the parts indicated in the arrows below. Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to what they've used or recommend using.

Brillo pads and Fairy Liquid should do the trick!
No seriously - someone will be along soon with a better suggestion.

they are supposed to look like that and while you could polish it all up as soon as you drive the car they will look like that again.

I was hoping I could make it look a bit more silver/shinier...

The thing is that they are both just untreated aluminum. You can not really put a coating on them because of the heat. So oxidation is what you get.

You could polish it up but will not last long. Would have to keep on doing it on a regular basis.
