Advice on polishing car

Hi All

Just a quick question, when polishing the paint with wax after a wash with a electric buffer do i put the polish on the paint with a microfibe and buff of with electric buffer or do i put the polish on the buff wheel and polish in and then microfibre ????

Me I put the Polish/wax on with the buffer. Then Polish it off with a microfiber cloth.
Though I have been known to use the buffer fir both. But that is time consuming as the wax I use I just do a panel at a time. So it is easier to put the wax on with the buffer then take off with the microfiber cloth.
