  • Auto glym leather cleaner and balm

Used both the cleaning spray and the leather balm in mine today (not had leather seats before) and wow what a difference I was reserved at first but it's like I've got a whole new interior as most of its leather in the Dsport+, in terms of cleaning them the cleaner does a good job and it's PH neutral so no worries there, in terms of smell no real odour, the Balm is fantastic stuff even if you don't use the cleaner and you use anything else the balm after the clean works it's wonders. So yeah highly recommended.

My wife had a kit with her Landy Freelander, so I did borrow the Vinyl Cleaner,Wheel Cleaner and Leather Care and they all worked fine!

Was the wheel cleaner any good? The 2 items cost me less than 20 quid from Halfrauds which for once I thought was reasonable for that place I did get some Maguiars applicators for putting the balm on they worked a treat no special requirements other than follow the instructions and boom.

Wheel cleaner is fine just make sure you apply and remove with two cloths otherwise it can just smear around your rims!

I love the AG leather balm but I have to time application correctly as you're supposed to leave it for at least 24 hours I think to replenish before buffing it out. When I've done this in the past the seats have looked great so I apply twice a year (summer and winter) to maintain them

Instructions said nothing about leaving it 24 hours i left it about 10 / 15 minutes while i did the rest then buffed out, looked brilliant, i aim to do it every 2 - 3 months to keep them in good nick!

              from their website
              How to use
              1. Shake well and test a small inconspicuous area first to check for water staining and colour fastness.

              2. Apply Leather Care Balm to a foam applicator or soft cotton cloth. Gently massage into the surface of the leather and continue until the balm is absorbed.

              3. Allow a few minutes for absorption to take place then buff with a Hi-Tech Interior Microfibre or a clean cotton cloth.

Yeah this is pretty much what it says on the bottle but just mentioned buff it out with a Microfibre cloth which is exactly what i did. Maybe they used to say leave it for 24 hours and then changed the formula or realised it wasn't necessary .. not sure.

Lol my bottle is quite old as you don't have to use much so it really lasts, I'll check it later to see if I completely mis read the instructions
