  • Detailers in the Midlands?

    Does anyone know of any detailers in the Midlands? Preferably Leicester(shire). Seems to be loads on google but looking for recommendations.

    I had a quote from Beau Technique who is close to Loughborough for a new car detail but at the time didn't have the money but he seems to be a good guy and knows his stuff

        This is what I got quoted on but this was on a brand new DS3 so it could differ.


        Rinse wheels thoroughly.
        Apply non acid cleaner to inside & outside of wheels.
        Agitate with various soft bristle brushes.
        Rinse wheels thoroughly.
        Apply fallout removal product to remove brake pitting and metal contaminants.
        Rinse thoroughly.
        Apply citrus based degreaser to wheel arches.
        Agitate with various soft bristle brushes.
        Rinse thoroughly.
        ( Wheels off deep clean and coatings additional £75.00 )

        Wash and prep:

        Apply citrus based degreaser to all lower sections of the vehicle to remove road grime, traffic film and bug debris.
        Rinse thoroughly.
        Apply citrus based degreaser to all doorshuts and boot shut.
        Agitate with various brushes.
        Rinse clean.
        Rinse whole vehicle.
        Wash from top to bottom using 2 buckets with grit guards, Lambswool wash mitt and the finest pH neutral shampoo.
        Rinse thoroughly.
        Apply dedicated tar remover, leave to dwell them wipe clean with soft microfiber towels.
        Rinse thoroughly.
        Decontaminate vehicle including wheels with Iron x to remove iron and metal contamination.
        Rinse thoroughly.
        Remove bonded contaminants with claybar readying paintwork for pre-wax application.
        Final rinse.
        Dry using dense pile quality drying towels.


        Paintwork preparation and protection:

        Assess under varying light sources, measure paint thickness and choose correct media and material to undertake single stage paint correction to nip out any faint whisps in the finish along with promote gloss and clarity.


        Finishing touches:

        Treat and dress all exterior trim.
        Treat and dress wheel arches.
        Seal wheels with ptfe enriched wheel sealant.
        Treat and dress tyres.
        Clean exterior glass.
        Polish and seal exhaust.

        £480.00

        Optional interior valet and textile/leather protect £60.00
        Wheels removed, deep cleaned and ceramic coated additional £75.00

        be careful if you find others though some are not what they seem.
