Whats the best way to dry car after washing

as the title says , whats the best way to dry off the car after washing it , i use a chamois leather but have been told its a big no no ,
just wondering why its a no no and what else to reccommend

Mate try a soft Microfibre drying towel,they are available from Halfords or online I have a couple and wash every use,usually air dry them after washing. Only use a noodle mitt to wash car too.

Less risk of scratching paint.

The best way is an air line but that's not practical for most people.

I use a couple of Kent drying towels, like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0030B9U6Q/ but any thick microfibre towel should do the job, I know Andy has some good ones on the Clean Your Ride store (we get club discount).

The reason to not use a chamois leather is because the leather doesn't have anywhere for the dirt to go, forcing it into the paint, causing micro scratches.

If owners are really worried about inflicting scratches on new paintwork, the best thing to do is not wash it....

Not sure i could cope with that

Dragging anything across paint surfaces causes scratches unfrtunately, and using air to dry usually cause water dry marks

Drying towel that is what I use. Well two actually one for the wheels and inside the door closures "etc" and the other for the body.

do you just wash them the normal way after use like we do with clothes or wash them with no detergent

If they're microfibre, you're meant to use a specialist microfibre cleaner (hand wash or machine wash) but I really don't bother with that at all. just throw it in the normal was like a normal towel
