Hi All,

Just looking at some car cleaning stuff ready for the arrival of the DS3! (White w/ Black Roof!)

I am thinking of getting the following:

Snowfoam Lance - £48
Magifoam - £6.99
Dodo Juice Basics of Bling Wax-safe Wash Shampoo - £8.95
Dodo Juice 'Diamond White' 250ml - £32.95
Chemical Guys Body Shield Blitz Spray Sealant 16oz - £11.95
Chemical Guys Lambswool Wash Mitt - £6.95


Would this be the right thing to do?

Snowfoam the car with Magifoam...
Wash with Basics of Bling Shampoo & Lambswool Mitt (2bucket method)
Dry...
Seal with Chemical Guys Body Shield Blitz Spray ..
Wax with Dodo Juice Diamond White

and then for regular washes just use the Basics of Bling Shampoo & Dry?


Or would anyone suggest other products, or a different way of doing it? It's very confusing.


I've never done all this before & must admit the current car just goes through the car wash!

I would suggest that after washing your clay bar the car first, gives a silky smooth finish before the polish and wax coats.

Ahh I knew I missed something! I'll add that to the list

I use the Autoglym Clay kit and I find it great to work with.

I was thinking maybe Meguiar's Quik Clay Detailing System, just because the AG one comes with a polishing cloth & microfibre cloth which I have already.

I just need to convince the other half why spending £130 on cleaning stuff is a good idea! :P
