Autosol Metal Polish

Hi all, I have a tube of Autosol Metal Polish. Has anyone used this before or say whether it can be used to clean all the chrome on a DS3. I ask because the tube is slightly confusing by saying it is used for chrome, stainless steel etc but then comes with a note saying "Not recommended for use on Mirror finish, chrome motorcycle trim or chrome finished plastic"

It has confused me a little as surely all chrome is mirror finish and what is the difference between motorcycle chrome and chrome on a DS3 for eg?

I assume none of the chrome on the DS3 such as wing mirrors and side baguettes are plastic...

the majority of chrome on a ds3 is plastic so autosol would be a bit severe I think. Ok for exhaust.

Just your normal polish you use on your car will be fine on the chrome bits but like Adi above said autosol great on exhaust

I've used it before. Not on anything you're comtemplating on using it for though.

It's good for my 30yr old alloy Wolfrace slots but I would say it's too abrasive for chrome. It's like Tcut and then some!

Megs Metal Polish is MUCH Better...
