Talk me out of it!!!!!

From new my car has been washed with a lambswool mitt, dried with a micrfibre towel and polished with Carnauba Wax but with this awful weather and my car getting filthy I am SO tempted to put it through a car wash and give up!

Tried washing it on Sunday and nearly froze to death!

Agree with Zack, just go to a jet wash and use the lance, not the brush!

Won't come up like a proper contact wash but it will be better than it was!

I used to like using Morrison's (the supermarket) jet washes for the old car. You pay for the time you use as you go.. something like £1 for 2mins30secs.. The brush lance used to kick out a nice dense foam too when you selected the foam option. So I suppose you could 'snowfoam' your car with the brush lance without actually letting the brush touch the paintwork.. let the foam soak for a few mins.. then pop another quid in and rinse it off

Not sure what the foam had in it though (i.e. if it would strip any wax)

Also the foam would vary in colour & (very nice) scent every 30secs or so.. Cherry, Banana, Blueberry if I remember correctly
