2011 SoChic - what needs to be covered? (engine cleaning)

Hey there!
Well, I never cleaned the engine before, but now I think it's about time. Do I need to cover a specific area? cover with plastic bag maybe the battery?
I don't want to leave any electrical components without the right protection

can someone please upload a picture of the engine with marks on the spots that need to be covered

yea but the battery, for example, is already covered with factory plastic.
I don't really familiar with the engine bay, do you know exactly which part and their locations need to be covered?

cover the battery again with plastic, electrical leads, air intake

if in doubt, go to a professional- should only be £50
