  • Wheel Cleaning

Has anyone got any advice on getting bellones (black ones) clean? Was shopping for some cleaning goodies and noticed tonnes of wheel clean stuff available. I already have supergaurd cleaning kit that came with the car (i know its rubbish) but it has some wheel cleaner and wheel protection solution.

Out of all the things on the car these wheels have to be the hardest to clean. Ive done 17000 miles with little more than just a wash mitt once a week so they are looking in need of a deep clean.

This link might help when you're ready to purchase:

          http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/ind...-non-acid.html

I recommend getting a graduated measuring bottle to go with it along with a 'foaming' spray trigger. When ready to order give them a call (if you get Mark say Clive said that he likes the foaming spray head, he'll know what you mean).

Then you can mix it at about 10-1 and apply liberally, the foaming action helps IMO, and get a nice soft brush to agitate it, again just ask Mark.

          Regards,
          Clive.

PS - Edit - Easter Offer on Above it seems - BOGOF....

Is this the trim/tyre cleaner your using mate? http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/ind...ant-500ml.html

Also with re. To cleaning the exhaust etc would you use wire wool to clean and then buff them with metal polish applied with a mfibre towel? Can that towel be reused I washed on other parts of the car?
