Wash & Wax product

I am looking into detailing and as a beginner I was wondering if I can use Turtles Wash n Wax for the washing part or will the wax in this effect the latter stages of the process i.e the claying, tar removal etc?

Should I tell the better half she can have the whole lot and I go buy myself a shampoo only product to use instead? Thought I best ask now whilst I am looking at what products I still need to buy ready for my DS3 coming.

Made myself a list of products i'm looking at buying. Still need to source a bug/tar remover spray but I can pick that up easy enough. I have my buckets and 2 lambs wool mitts already. I'm also going to get this http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealan...ml?page=1#tab3 for the finish and will buy PB Blackhole if and when needed depending on if the car has any swirls when I get it lol.

I use the Turtlewax Zipwax stuff between washes with Zymol (for detailing washes) and it's fine as it won't strip wax, and with mf towel drying it leaves no streak - Great for a quick wash http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zQD2FuCV0c...ax-zip-wax.jpg

Yeh same stuff. I've been on detailing worlds forum and need told this stuff should be ok to use as my shampoo during the the process as my wax and blackhole should i use it will go over any wax from the shampoo without issue. I'll just have to try and see how to goes once Lord Vader arrives.

I am leasing mine so it was already ordered. I just claimed mine on that day. Ask your dealer for an update. 6 weeks is roughly the turnaround so I believe.
