Yeh, that's the plan to spend a day/wknd and get it washed, clayed, srp'd n waxed, plus seal the wheels and interior...

Then just clean n top up every month...

Might have to get it machine polished at some point though, which Clive has kindly offered to help with...

What do you guys recommend for sealing newly painted wheels?

I'm using Finish Kare 1000 High Temp sealant which is what I use on the body but from what I've read, you can use any wax or sealant. You can buy wheel protector but I don't believe it's necessary. I followed Clive's advice and been reading up on http://www.detailingworld.co.uk

I'm getting rid of my white wheels - I give up!
They are being acid dipped and powder coated black.
I will smother them in Finish Kare and keep up with the cleaning!

            Lets hope

              How much JimBob?
Assume it wouldnt affect price if they were dipped another colour?

They come to me, swap the wheels for my winter wheels, take them away, remove the tyres, acid dip the wheels, powder coat them, refit the tyres and balance, bring them back and refit them - all for £250! I think that's a bargain.

That sounds like a very good deal to me too.
