  • Ink stains on leather seats

I recently discovered that I must have been sitting on a pen as I have ballpoint ink stains on the drivers seat , not too obvious but I have no idea what to use to get rid of them , any ideas please .

Have you tried any leather cleaners yet? Even just try some leather wipes as they wont cost a fortune and you could still use them after so not a waste of money.

Could try a normal stain remover for ink but be sure to test an a piece of the leather you cant see first.

There is a company in England called Woolies. They deal with care for leather products for high end cars ( connolly leather). The people who run the company are brilliant and will give you information on what to do and how to clean it without damaging the leather. Might be worth while calling or droping them an email before you try something that may damage it beyond repair. They even sell chemicals to remove stains and dyes for repairing faided and wrinkled leather. On there website they have videos for repairing and cleaning leather. Hope this helps.

Try spraying some hairspray on the leather and leaving it for about 10 minutes. The glue in the leather pulls up the dirt from the grain (it might pull up the ink as well), just wipe down with a damp cloth.
