Fecking rain!

I was planning on giving the car the full works tomorrow and get the paint looking mint and protected with some serious sealant. Forecast was cloudy by dry. Perfect. Now its changed! Damn you Met Office, your forecasts are mince lol.

Anyway, I know this may be a stupid question but is it possible to apply polish and some sealant afterwards when there is some light rain coming down? I want it on while the car is new and get the paint protected asap.

You could get this stuff I sometimes use from Autoglym which is called express wax, it's designed to be put on when the car is wet

Got it this morning and used it this afternoon. Was some light rain during the wash phase and when I started to apply the Aqua Wax but was off within minutes which was nice Just did a quick 2 bucket wash, sprayed some bug & tar remover in the key areas, light wipe and rinse then applied the Aqua Wax as per the direction and MF cloths the pack came with. Very happy with the result so thanks once again

Oh wait until I can get my Kinish Kare 1000 sealant on there. Water will just slide right off as soon as it hits

Nice,,,,I'm liking the detailing bug catching around here! I think a little Autobrite Distinction would finish that off nicely (Finish Kare is of course lovely too).....
