Hi, I just looked at my front wheel arches and back and noticed little nicks out of the paint and a bigish one which was down to the grey paint underneath the base coat. would it be okay to leave the chip showing the grey paint underneath the base paint. I thinks its there to protect it from corrosion. I have touched it up for now but seem to be finding a few nick and chips in these areas. I think with the grit on the roads it cant be helped, and wanted to know if I could leave it when its down to the grey bit and not bear metal?
