Swirls - a theory

Thanks Clive, you truly know your beans. I'm just sooo hacked of that I have swirls already!! I've also got some nasty non-cleaning scratches on the car that I'm very unhappy about. On top of all that my wife doesn't understand why I can't take the car to my local supermarket car park to get cleaned!

You're very welcome and shame about the other scratches. Yes, best to avoid the supermarker car park washes otherwise the paint will become very flat and dull, especially on your colour car.
