I know how to go about doing a 6 hour marathon detail with my car but sometimes I don't have the time for that and my car begins to get a lot more dirty than i would like. In all attempts to avoid the local car wash what do you kind folks reccomend for a quick clean (under 2 hours)?

If you've got a pressure washer and snowfoam lance I would normally just do:
Degreaser, rinse, snowfoam, have a cuppa, rinse.
It won't be perfect but it should shift most of the salt etc that seems to build up and won't take long.
If you've got a bit longer then 2 bucket wash with a wash mitt then rinse after.
I'm sure CliveP will be along shortly to offer more professional advice

Had some watermarks but it was definitely a LOT better than before.
I normally clean the wheels while waiting for the snowfoam too.

Hey Beefmasta has answered all you need to know!
Trick is to give it a proper prep first, one of your six hour (or my enhancement semi-quick takes me 10 hours or so), then you can return it to all its glory in about an hour or so (I can do a pretty good job in 30 mins as long as car has been well prepped and protected).
In under 2 hours you can do quite a bit - and even a wash and dry then a decent quick detailer makes it looks great. Presently I am loving Abyss as my LSP and I top it off with a Project 32 quick detailer.

I'm sure it wil mean loads of facepalming
Personally less time and more frequent car washing for me
Every week or so for about 45mins- wash n wax. (Myself)
Usually just polish one section of the car (Back/ front. doors/ rear quarter) each time
Otherwise you can be washing for AGES! Gotta be drivensigpicJog on Noddy

For the times I needed to shift a good amount of muck without spending more than 15 minutes I put some Actimouse in my lance and then the muck really just washes off with the pressure washer. Never noticed the beading properties of the wax being affected either
