Anyone have the belle blue colour on there ds3? and what do you use to polish??

I know its old school but i like to handwash and turtle wax/polish after, my last citroen a C2 was the darker blue so no problem, but looking at halfords they only do a dark blue polish, online i can order a light blue one, but not sure which i need?? I have some light scratches i want to polish out, ive tried the non coloured polish and tbh didn't do anything. I had the car properly valeted as the job citroen did was awful and they took most the scratches out but i can't afford £60 every month!

Oh i should be honest, i don't have a ds3 exactly, ive currently got a c3 had to go all grown up after my c2, but i know its the same colour scheme. If im allowed would like to hang around?? most c3 faults and issues are the same as the ds3, and there aren't any c3 forums if there are far too grown up for me.

    Hi

My DS3 (new last Saturday - woo hoo!) isn't Belle Isle blue. That was the colour I wanted but my wife talked me out of it!
However my wife has an old (P reg) dark blue Rover 100 on which we use (carplan, I think) coloured polish to cover minor scratches in the colour coat (ie not down to the metal - just where the white underneath coat has been exposed) and it works well. AFAIK you don't have to match the colour. Their blue polish is suitable for all blue cars; red for all red cars; etc.
It isn't permanent, obviously, and needs re-polishing every so often, but we think it does quite a good job of disguising the small scratches.
There are some proper car detailing fanatics on here who will no doubt be along in a minute with some better ideas!
