      It's not that easy Patrick!
The carpets are better than Velcro.
The windscreen is hard to reach.
      What order to do things?

Good point Bryn - I guess a scourer is off the list!
And how do you get rid of the crap round the handbrake - it sticks in the joints?
And how to hoover in a 19mm gap????

Our Dyson has attachments that Hoover all the gaps in the DS3, I know what JB means about the carpets though

I use the narrow plastic nozzle for the small gaps, the small brush attachment for all vents, sills, seals, switches and joints and the flat nozzle with the piece of red material for the seats and carpet areas

I clean my dash with glass cleaner and a micro fibre cloth. Collects dust well and comes up shiny again.

I agree with the above, seem to be the best results on the shiny dash

i use various things to clean inside main thing is a micro fibre dusting wand from asda at about £2 fite in the door compartment so i can dust regularly. the thing i find almost impossible to get clean is the windscreen, ive tried greased lightning window cleanerand kitchen roll, vinigar water with some old newspaper to wipe it off, liqiud windolene and non of these gives me a streak free result. and the next time i drive towards the sun it looks a mess.
is there anyhting that is guaranteed to give a streak free shine....

Crystal Glass Cleaner works for me on the inside & outside of the windscreen. It might be that your microfibre cloths need washing though, they might have picked up some grease or something, causing the streaks.

What BeefMasta has said, plus a second microfibre to buff off the glass cleaner - trick is to use one cloth to apply and buff off 80-90% and then a clean one to buff off the last 10%.

And use very, very little window cleaner - I watched someone the other day use three squirks per window - no, one very light squirt max per window, it's excess product you're looking at with the smearing....

And I wash my microfibres after every use (40 degrees C, NO fabric conditioner, no of the household's clothes in with them, preferably in your dedicated car wash washing machine) (well it is OCD)....

                          Regards,
                          Clive.
