Excuse me but "you" people is making you sound a little arrogant. I don't drink alcohol and don't classify it at all as a really important thing in life. I can however spell endeavour.

sorry Andy, it wasn't meant that way, I think I meant you lot as I put before either way it was a bit of a rush cut and paste and meant to be cheeky not offensive

the fact that you don't value drinking much is my whole point, different people like different things to different extents - cleaning, ales, cars, football, pop music - it would be a boring world if we all liked the same or to the same extent

sorry, it's not me with bad spelling but the keyboard I use, it's my wife's and she's probably split cider or beer on it, I have noticed it's doing more typos, speeling and badder grammar recently

(and my keyboard wasn't the only to misspell the word)

and I wont hold it against you that you don't drink alcohol - the 'average owner' would drink alcohol (just statistics)

I'm in the same boat as you. Although I'm not opposed to drinking and will have a social drink I'm not all that keen on the feeling of being pissed.

That being said, the fridge is always fully stocked with a range of spirits, ciders and beers for when the missus and friends are over.

Personally, I'd much rather sit outside with a nice spliff with some good company and not have to worry about a sore head in the morning or the repercussions of something I've done or said that comes with drinking too much.

it's not about getting pissed (well usually) it's about quality not quanity

drinking in pubs and at other people's housing is also about socialising, I very rarely have a sore head through drinking if I can stick to proper real ales as they have natural ingredients instead of chemicals as such

I don't smoke so would never do a spliff, plus I don't like the smell which can give me a headache - but if you want to send me something in a cake I've always wanted to try that with a nice mug of Rosie

                cheers for that

this is going to sound bad - I'm off to pick the wife up from work and then on to a pub that has got a cask or two of some ales I requested as the landlord thought I'd done him a favour so let me chose when he was ordering - so I'm obliged to ain't I, pity he's not obliged to serve them when I can call in ! (I sometimes think he doesn't always like me )

Let me have a word with officer Den on the legality side of posting you class B drugs first.. xD

With that in mind, you might want to try and get in WTF's good books and see if you can get on the list for the cupcakes she often makes at meets

Congrats with the 11 weeks Daron, that is brilliant.

I myself am at about 13 weeks since my last bifter. Tried all sorts in the past to give up, will power, gum, patches, Champix tablets but what did it this time was the new e-cigs. Couple of weeks using that and that's it, no more nicotine for me. Feel great however waistline is now slowly expanding.

ROTFL. Similar here, I went from being a 90+ a day roll up smoker (for 36 years) on to the e-cigs for 6 weeks. From there I developed psoriasis which the helpful guys on the 111 service told me was due to me beign allergic to the carrier used in the ecigs. They told me to stop smoking them and go see my Doctor. This was a Friday night so deciced to stop smoking completely until I saw the Doc. Saw the Doc on the Tuesday morning and was told I was not allergic and the psoriasis was likely due to stress (physical with stopping smoking, mental with the company being in Administration).

So.... I thought I've gone from Friday to Tuesday not smoking at all so decided to see how far I could go. Still going

Same problem here with waistline, keep meaning to get back on the weights etc, but no time at the moment. Company now out of Administration so way busy!

I agree though on e-cigs being flipping marvelous!

Was a 20 a day man, gave up when the price went up to 65p (!!) and I decided I couldn't afford it. It'll be 37 years next November.
