A few Studio Shots of my DS3 for Auto Express

I was asked by Auto Express to provide some thoughts on ownership of my DS3 and they wanted to take some studio pictures - the photographer did tell me that the studio 'removes' the gloss from the photos (he was shocked on arrival at the presentation of my car, as he normally has to wash cars they use!, lol)....

Therefore for your potential interest and views....I'd driven the car some 20 miles or so immediately before these pics were taken, wish I had taken something to clean the exhaust off, but it's not too bad

Remember, not going to appear Glossy because of the studio, but I can assure you the car was! Almost two years old, covered 28,000 miles....

Prepped and dressed completely using AutoBrite products.

























Oh, and a little of my standard armoury, thought it would be good to see if the photographer could do a couple of shots:

I'm being contacted by a car journalist - however I think it's only going to be restricted to 25 or 30 words as part of a supplement on used cars

No idea, must have been the photographer's phone, I don't have an iPhone (maybe he had another commission for iPhone pics, he must have a great reputation, I know he's taken some of Christano Renaldo's car........)

Good solid advice for Clive

Very nice Clive
Certainly looks brochure quality with the shine n all that
If you need a few tips polishing the exhaust- I'm yer man
DS3r tries, but seems hooked on baby wipes

My tips are
1. Drive like a lunatic to get carbon deposits on tailpipes
2. Park in a suitable area, when pipes are cold, so that everyone can see how sad you are
3. Wipe of surface dirt with baby wipes ( johnson preferred, polished wood floor wipes 2nd best)
4. Clean ferociously
5. Stainless steel metal polish
6. Clean ferociously
7. Stand back and admire your pipes
8. Go for a drive, come back and do it all again

I am available for advice if needed. DS3r tries, but only seems to use baby wipes
Tut- tut. Will never make an OCD pipe cleaner

Still kind of amazed they invested all the cost of a studio shoot for no more than 30 words!, and I guess no more than one or two of the above pics (unless my car gets a largerpic, purely because it was clean, but rather matt according to the pics, apparently, lol)...
