Its not too bad. You have to wait couple hours for the stuff to dry rather than the 1 hr they quote
And its last for 3 or 4 weeks.
Certainly better than nothing and will last a couple washes
A few options you have are a spray type protector such as the Armorall, a polish such as Planet Polish Wheel Seal and Shine or a high temp alloy wax such as AF Mint Rims.
I have all 3 and the easiest to apply and the most effective without a shadow of a doubt is the PP Wheel Seal and Shine. Wipe on, wipe off, that's it. It won't keep your alloys looking cleaner for longer but does initially make them really shiny and a lot easier to clean as and when the time comes as the brake dust sticks to the sealant and not the alloy.
An example of the wheel sealant Andy has recommmended above (PP Wheel Seal and Shine), I applied to a DS3 wheel some time ago (see I do have some other products apart from just Autobrite's!):

I use two sealants..both superb and last many washes:
Optimum Optiseal
And
Wolfs Body Wrap
Neither are stand alone wheel sealers but do a far better job and last longer than most sealants designed for wheels

Nice one Clive; one of the easiest, most cost effective products I have used I'm sure you'll agree?
Can't believe you actually do have non AB products lol

Hi Andy, it's certainly dead easy to use and like a lot of detailing products in terns of value, very good - only thing to watch out for is the winter weather can muck up the cream a bit causing it to separate, thought I was going to have to throw it away but it did come 'back to life'....
To be honest I don't overly seal my own wheels (I do on details for others) as can't resist giving them wheel cleaner whilst the snow is dwelling......so degrading any wheel sealants.
I generally think most products are quite good from most manufacturers, I just go back a long way with Mark and have custom coming out of my ears if I want it, but my 'real' business is too busy to do too many, what I love most is the training courses I run - nothing like seeing people smiling...
Best Regards,
Clive.

I completely agree. This to me at the end of a detail is THE best part and makes the aching body parts the next day totally worth it. Knowing your actions have solely contributed to them smiling is, for me, brilliant.
All the best pal

That's very true Chris. A lot of clients do say to me that they can't stop looking at their car after a full days detail.
PS I'm glad that Zaino polish I sent to you helped with your bird bomb stain. Also that Z6 is good stuff isn't it?

My wheels started out white - I tried everything before giving up and having them powder coated black.
Poorboys came the closest to keeping them clean but not good enough!
