Hiya I am looking to start a valeting company up in County Durham I am just wanting a few tips on what I need and just as much advice as possible thanks

    Hi mate

With respect if you are thinking of starting a valeting business then you shouldn't really be asking for tips and advice; you should really be a fountain of knowledge yourself and get years of practice and experience before you touch somebody elses pride and joy. Sorry to be negative but I have years of experience myself and am only just trusting myself to valet/detail other peoples cars now.

All of your previous posts have been on just one thread: Best way to make ds3 hdi 90bhp more responsive. My advice would be to contribute to threads regarding cleaning and detailing, observe posts and collate tips from members like Clive, Robbo and myself or pop along to www.detailingworld.com

Definitely not. I would not imagine for one second when you pay a foreign chappy some of your hard earned to perform a half/mini/full valet on a car, he would go to the extreme detail of using cotton buds for example for cleaning tight areas around badges or gaps.

A valet to a valeter is just another car to clean. A detail to me; I see it as my own car and take a massive amount of pride and attention to detail to ensure the car is cleaned to my high standards as safely as possible. To the extent from taking off rings and watches to having dedicated clothing to ensure no zips, press studs, buttons or rivets cause any damage. That's my twopenneth worth for now.
