Wet outside so had to cancel/postpone todays planned detail.
To scratch my itch decided to machine polish my Hotpoint FF187L.
No need for a de-tarring or fallout remover today or even a 2BM. Just dived straight in.
Megs 105 and 205 were the weapons of choice. Paint was quite soft so pretty easy enhancement.
A deep scratch coming down from the "T" on Hotpoint caused by a magnet wasn't for moving. May have to wetsand that next time.
Thinking also of a sealant to be applied next time to protect todays hard work. Any recommendations. Was looking at Turtle Wax ICE or Zainoussi (sorry) Clear Sealant but thinking that may interfere with the Hotpoints bodywork.
Apart from that scratch, a great turnaround I'm sure you will agree?
Comments/criticisms welcome?
