I have run out of Bug remover and was going to get autoglym bug remover but my local halfords has none and the only options are Wonder wheels, Simoniz and turtle wax are any of these any good. i need to get the car done tomorrow and have no time to wait to get some by post.

    All advice welcome

Wet towel over the bugs for 20 mins then wipe off
Better still use a pressure washer and snow foam

Taught me all I knew about them

This was the bug ridden front end with baked on weekish old flies of a recent enhancement:

Demon Rapid Dirt Shifter was sprayed and left to dwell on bugs for only about 5 mins before pressure rinsing off. The bugs were definitely shifted.

Fantastic stuff and readily available from Morrisons for example for just £4 for a 500ml bottle.

No effect whatsoever Chris and I have only used it for pre-rinse and bug removing. I rate it better than AF Citrus Power which is a big, bold statement I know.

                From CarPlans website:
Dissolves muck….right off! Simply spray all over vehicle before washing to dissolve grease, road grim, bird lime and tree sap. New technology Pre Wash Degreaser takes the hard scrubbing out of washing your vehicle. Can be used on vehicle paintwork, glass plastic and chrome.

Definitely worth a punt at £4.00

I recommend CarLack bug remover. That stuff is amazing.
