  • My New Car - well you did say I could Stay after DS3 has gone

Well as mentioned I changed my DS3 to feed my mid-life crisis to a 'mid-life crisis' car!

These pictures are following a basic quick once over.

This is Autobrite Magifoam, Citrus Wash, Banana Gloss, finished off with Cherry Glaze and then Ultraslick. Tyres dressed with Bubblegum Trim.

Can't wait to do a full machine detail when time/weather/light allow.

    Whoops, little blurry this one:

Exhaust tips polished with Autobrite Metal Worx:

Here's a couple of beading shots from this morning.

Missing doing my DS3 but I've got a few others lined up for people....

    Regards,
    Clive.

Im assuming cleaning cars is your job. The stuff you used sounds like the products sitting on the side of our bath.

                      Thanks All ...

SuperFly guy - no cleaning cars is not my job, but I do it as a serious hobby and train people in it - I simply love the subject - it's feeds my OCD nature as my 'real' job does (and needs) - my SLK will be much better than above when I get chance to machine it properly . I've done a few members cars on here and love doing them - a DS3 enhancement takes me about 10 hours...

BigFeet - there's only room for 'something for weekend Sir?' in the boot! Certainly no room for a hairdryer especially with the roof down!

Still not ruling out another DS3 alongside it sometime though!

                      Regards,
                      Clive.

When you say machine it, do you mean for polishing?

                              Cheers Rob

Gaz if you look back on here somewhere you'll see long threads from me exaplining why people like Robbo and Andy like to machine polish to remove swirls - which in a nutshell will make a car look must more glossy and have deep, deep reflections, better than most cars look new.....especially when finished with a lovely wax (or sealant) afterwards...

                              Regards,
                              Clive.
